Details

This Direction made by the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy pursuant to section 22 of the Energy Prices Act 2022 requires domestic electricity suppliers to:

  • provide payments under the聽Energy Bills Support Scheme in Northern Ireland (EBSS NI)聽to eligible customers
  • submit to reporting and auditing requirements
  • refund any overpayments made to聽BEIS

It also establishes the terms on which聽BEIS听辫谤辞惫颈诲别蝉听EBSS听蹿耻苍诲颈苍驳.

Guidance

Guidance will be published in due course as provided for in the Direction. For the purposes of the obligations in paragraph 8.1 of the Direction, there is no guidance which suppliers need to accord with in meeting those obligations.
