Details
This direction requires the council to take steps to improve its children鈥檚 social care services, including co-operating with the DfE appointed Children鈥檚 Services Commissioner Helen Lincoln and Essex county council.
It follows a that judged the overall effectiveness of the council鈥檚 children鈥檚 social care services to be inadequate.
We have replaced this direction with a revised direction issued on 22 July 2019.
