We define Payment by Results as 鈥渁ny programme where payments are made after the achievement of pre-agreed results鈥�.
鈥楧esigning and Delivering PbR Programmes鈥� is our guidance for people considering, designing or implementing a PbR project. It is primarily aimed at our staff.
The spreadsheet gives a summary overview of a selection of our more innovative Payment by Results projects: those where payments are made on the delivery of pre-agreed outcomes. Outcomes are the medium and long term effects of programmes, the things that actually make a positive difference to peoples鈥� lives, for example better health, better education or higher incomes.
