Designated ports for UK flagged vessels landing over 100kg of certain multi-annual plan or recovery stock and all deep-sea species

Theses ports are designated to land the catches of:

  • Over 100kg of:
    • Certain multi-annual plan species
    • Recovery stock species
    • All deep-sea species
  • Over 2 tonnes of cod or hake

Further information on the ports and landing arrangements can be found in your vessel licence conditions. Your fishing vessel licence is in several parts. You must read each part carefully to make sure you understand the terms attached to it and that they are correct for your fishing activity. Contact your local Marine Management Organisation (MMO) office with any questions and notify them immediately if any of the details are incorrect.

All ports are subject to prior notification of arrival (PNO).

1. Port designations

Unless marked with an * all the ports in the list are for UK vessels landing into the UK with over 100kg of certain multi-annual plan or recovery stock, and all deep-sea species.

Where the port name is marked with an * this is a permitted landing port for UK vessels with over 2 tonnes of either cod or hake on board to land only.

2. England

Please note that at least 4 hours� notice of arrival will be required of your intention to land 2 tonnes or more of any species of sea fish at these ports.
