Details

Each government department publishes the letters of appointment for their GMPP senior responsible owners (SROs). These letters include the date of appointment, the project deliverables, what the SRO is responsible for and how long the role is expected to last.

The guidance for officials giving evidence to Parliamentary Select Committees, known as the Osmotherly Rules, was updated on 17 October 2014. As part of this update we are committed to publishing GMPP SRO letters of appointment.

  1. The SRO letter for the UK Seafood Fund Project has been removed, as the project is no longer part of the Government Major Projects Portfolio.

  16. We have added the letter of appointment for David Kennedy, Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) for the Future Farming and Countryside Programme.

  17. Removed the following SRO letters, as the projects are no longer part of the Government Major Projects Portfolio: Thames estuary asset management 2100 programme, Thames Tideway Tunnel project, CAP Delivery programme, UnITy programme.

  18. Added SRO appointment letter for Science Capability in Animal Health programme.
