Details

Our resource accounts for the year ended 31 March 2010 include聽 a management commentary,聽remuneration report, statement of the accounting officer鈥檚 responsibilities, statement on internal control,聽the audit report, and the consolidated resource accounts and related notes.

These accounts show the Department鈥檚 income and expenditure for the year and assets and liabilities at the year end.

Also published with the resource accounts this year are some annexes which were formerly included in聽 the annual report.聽These annexes consist聽 of some core tables of financial information, a report on performance, and recommendations from the Public Accounts Committee and from the Parliamentary Ombudsman.

The department did not publish a combined annual report and accounts this year, in accordance with guidance from HM Treasury.聽
