The Criminal Procedure Rules 2014 came into force on Monday 6 October 2014.

On the same day, amendments to the Criminal Practice Directions made by the Lord Chief Justice came into force.

The now contains the up-to-date rules and practice directions, including a new consolidated edition which can be read online or downloaded.
