London Sudan Conference 2025: co-chairs' statement

The UK, alongside Germany, France, African Union and European Union, co-hosted the London Sudan Conference, bringing together foreign ministers and high-level representatives.

On 15 April 2025 the United Kingdom, the African Union (AU), the European Union (EU), France and Germany hosted the London Sudan Conference.

The conference brought together foreign ministers and high-level representatives from Canada, Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Norway, Qatar, South Sudan, Switzerland, T眉rkiye, United Arab Emirates, Uganda and United States of America, alongside high-level representatives of the League of Arab States (LAS) and the United Nations (UN)

Together, conference participants focussed on making progress on our shared goals of ending this conflict and alleviating the suffering of the Sudanese people. We reiterated our strong commitment to the sovereignty, unity, independence, and territorial integrity of Sudan. 聽

Recognising the scale of the humanitarian crisis, 8 participants, including the UK, US, European Union (on behalf of the European Commission and its member states), France, Germany, UAE, Canada and Switzerland, highlighted their commitment to provide over 拢813 million of funding for Sudan and its neighbours this year.
