From 1 April 2014, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) took over the functions of the Competition Commission and the competition and certain consumer functions of the Office of Fair Trading.

The CMA鈥檚 second annual report and accounts sets out the department鈥檚 performance, achievements and accounts from 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016.

The CMA鈥檚 impact assessment for 2015 to 2016 has been published alongside this report.
