Details

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) is to close the driving test centre at Launceston because the current occupancy agreement expires on 31 January 2013.

Suitable alternative premises within Launceston have been identified under licence. Terms have been agreed with the landlord, instructions issued to solicitors and a planning application submitted for use as a driving test centre. No date has been set when it will open.

The nearest alternate test centres are:

  • Bodmin (22 miles)
  • Plymouth (26 miles)
  • Barnstaple (42 miles)
  • Exeter (42 miles)
