The 鈥榙eep dive鈥� self-assessment tools help local public health bodies and their partners take a more in-depth look at important areas of their tobacco control work. The tools will be especially helpful in assisting local health networks to deliver the tobacco control related commitments in the .
Local organisations can also use the to demonstrate the scale of the harm caused by tobacco use and the contribution this makes to health inequalities.
Public Health England (PHE) provides support and training for local public health organisations to undertake the assessments. Please contact CLeaRTobaccoTeam@phe.gov.uk for more information.
