This concordat establishes an agreed framework for co-operation between the UK Government and the Welsh Government on issues pertaining to Part 2 (Emergency Powers) of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 (鈥渢he Act鈥�), which applies to the United Kingdom. The concordat should be read in conjunction with the Regulations and Guidance supporting Part 1 of the Act, which relates to local civil protection arrangements. These Regulations and Guidance set out in detail how the UK Government and the Welsh Government will co-operate in taking forward Part 1 of the Act.
