The Southend-on-Sea City Deal capitalises on opportunities to increase the rates of entrepreneurship and innovation locally, and realise the full potential of this major centre in the South East Local Enterprise Partnership area.

The 拢6 million funding consists of 拢2.5 million from central government, 拢3 million in private investment and 拢670,000 from local government.
