Details

This circular publishes amendments to Annexes F and U made under the Police Regulations 2003 to implement the police pay award for 2024 to 2025, with effect from 1 September 2024. This also includes increases to London weighting, the dog handlers鈥� allowance and the on call allowance.

From 1 April 2025, chief officers have discretion to appoint new officers at pay point 1 or 2 on the constables鈥� pay scale. The maximum rate of London allowance for those appointed on or after 1 September 1994 also increased from 1 April 2025.

Amendments to Annex O made under the Police Regulations 2003 to increase annual leave on appointment for officers in the federated ranks to 25 days, and to reduce length of service to reach the maximum entitlement of 30 days, took effect on 1 April 2025.
