Details

The purpose of this circular is to

  • draw attention to the Building Regulations &c (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and explain the changes they make to the Building Regulations 2010 and the Building (Approved Inspectors etc) Regulations 2010
  • announce the revocation of authorisation of one competent person scheme
  • announce the amendment of Approved Documents L1A, L1B, L2A and L2B

These amendment regulations come into effect on the 6 April 2016, except the revocation of authorisation of BSI Assurance UK Limited as a self-certification scheme which comes into force on 1 May 2016.
