The Certification Officer found that the Union had not breached its rules or Article 6 of the European Convention of Human Rights by denying the Applicant access to certain material he had sought in connection with the Union鈥檚 internal disciplinary proceedings, or by failing to hear a complaint brought against the Applicant by another member under the Union鈥檚 internal disciplinary procedures within a reasonable time.
Two further complaints alleging breaches of the union鈥檚 disciplinary rules were rejected as having been brought out of time. The Certification Officer found that the union had not breached Section 30 of the 1992 Act in respect of the Applicant鈥檚 complaint that he had been denied access to the Union鈥檚 accounting records.
