This publication was previously published by Public Health England, which closed on 30 September 2021.

This publication explains the use of whole colon imaging as an alternative to a colonoscopy as part of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP). It replaces 鈥楪uidelines for the use of imaging in the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme鈥� (NHS BCSP publication number 5, 2012).

The guidelines include information on:
