These reports cover the various counties or regions that make up the low risk area (LRA) and edge area of England.
They supplement the regional breakdowns of the official bovine tuberculosis (TB) statistics published quarterly and provide cattle keepers and other interested parties with an overview of the bovine聽TB聽situation in their area.
The reports pull together descriptive statistics on new and ongoing bovine聽TB聽herd incidents (also referred to as breakdowns or cases) in the聽LRA聽and edge area at county or regional level, including:
- regional or county maps of the distribution of new and ongoing bovine聽TB聽herd incidents
- assessments by Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) vets and a new data driven methodology on the likely sources of infection for new聽TB聽incidents occurring in each county
In addition to these reports, the聽iBTB interactive map聽shows the location details of current bovine聽TB聽breakdowns and resolved breakdowns in the last 5 years in England and Wales.
