This report sets out the findings of the commissioner鈥檚 3-month review and makes recommendations for the improvement of children鈥檚 social care services in Blackpool.

It follows a that judged the overall effectiveness of the council鈥檚 children鈥檚 social care services to be inadequate.

We issued a statutory direction to Blackpool Council on the 22 July 2019.
