A review exploring the contribution of the government鈥檚 plug-in car grant and plugged-in places schemes to the uptake of electric vehicles (EVs).

This assessment involved a quantitative survey of over 500 grant recipients alongside over 100 in-depth interviews with recipients and non electric vehicle owners. It provides evidence on the role and effectiveness of the schemes, the barriers and motivating factors that influence EV purchasing and the use of charging infrastructure.
