The Home Secretary has accepted the ACMD鈥檚 recommendation to reclassify methylamphetamine to a Class A Drug.聽 Methylamphetamine (commonly referred to as methamphetamine or by its street name of 鈥渃rystal meth鈥� or 鈥渋ce鈥�) is a member of a broad class of psycho-stimulant compounds called amphetamines, which act on the central and peripheral nervous system.
