Biography
Daniel is General Counsel and joined Ofqual in 2015.聽
His previous roles include:
- Director of Legal, Ofqual
- Associate Director, Legal Establishment, Ofqual
Prior to joining Ofqual, Daniel worked in private practice, and in-house for a sports governing body and subsequently a professional membership organisation.
General Counsel, Ofqual
The General Counsel鈥檚 responsibilities include:
- to act as Ofqual鈥檚 senior legal adviser
- to provide strategic legal advice to the Chief Regulator, the Board and it鈥檚 Committees in respect of Ofqual鈥檚 statutory objectives, duties and functions
- to direct and co-ordinate the provision of legal services, encompassing governance, enforcement, information rights, data protection, corporate and commercial advice
