Chris Grigg CBE
Biography
Chris Grigg is Chair of the National Wealth Fund and of Evelyn Partners, the wealth management company. He was also appointed non-executive Chair for Melrose plc, the aerospace company, in March 2025.
In his executive career, Chris was most recently CEO of British Land. Before that, he was CEO of Barclays Commercial Bank. Chris鈥檚 earlier career was spent at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Partner, and at Morgan Grenfell. Chris has an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
Industrial Strategy Advisory Council member
Chris is a member of the Industrial Strategy Advisory Council (ISAC) by virtue of his role as chair of the National Wealth Fund, which will mobilise billions of pounds of investment in the UK鈥檚 world-leading clean energy and growth industries, and support the delivery of the government鈥檚 new industrial strategy.
