Amy Holmes was appointed as interim DG Service Transformation in April 2025. Amy was Public Guardian and Chief Executive for the Office of the Public Guardian from September 2022 to April 2025.

Amy came from the Cabinet Office where she was the Domestic Affairs Director in the Economic and Domestic Secretariat. Prior to that Amy was in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs where she held a number of senior roles including the Director for Strategy and Change, and the EU and International Trade Director.
