A group of Uruguayan journalists were invited by local government to visit the Falkland Islands in November/December this year.

A group of Uruguayan journalists visited the Falkland Islands in November/December this year. Mar铆a Eugenia Dupin (Radio El Espectador), Enrique S谩nchez (Paysand煤鈥檚 El Tel茅grafo newspaper), Andr茅s Sena and Alfredo Mesa (Televisi贸n Color network for the interior of Uruguay) were invited by local government to experience at firsthand life in the Islands.
The journalists鈥� coverage included articles, reports and photographic galleries. Some of the relevant issues covered were the fishing industry, education and the existing links between Uruguay and the Falklands.
