Commenting on today鈥檚 publication of provisional greenhouse gas emissions statistics for 2010, Energy and Climate Change Secretary The Rt Hon Chris Huhne MP said:

鈥淏ritain鈥檚 blighted by inefficient and draughty homes which is why we want to help people waste less energy through the Green Deal and install new cleaner technologies to heat their homes.

鈥淎s we come out of recession the Coalition鈥檚 determined to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. That鈥檚 why we are pushing on all fronts to turn around Britain鈥檚 woeful record on renewables.鈥�
