The Muscat Amateur Theatre presents鈥� A little Bit of Shakespeare, sub-titled 鈥� Your Are Quoting Shakespeare鈥� , which comprises a series of extracts from William Shakespeare鈥檚 plays of comedy, romance and tragedy on Tuesday 1 March, Wednesday 2 March and Thursday 3 March. The performances will be held in the British Embassy compound. The British Embassy in Muscat is marking the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare鈥檚 death . He remains a global phenomenon. His work has been translated into more than100 languages and is studied by half of the world鈥檚 schoolchildren. This is why through 2016 the world will be celebrating 400 years of Shakespeare鈥檚 legacy as one of the greatest playwrights of all time and this why the UK invites everyone to join in through the鈥� Shakespeare鈥檚 Lives鈥� initiative.
