On 1 March 2013, the British Ambassador to the Holy See Nigel Baker chaired 鈥淩eligion and Secularism in a Global Age鈥� Conference, organised by the , in co-operation with the British Embassy to the Holy See, the Pontifical Council for Culture and its Courtyard of the Gentiles programme, the American University of Rome, and the Pontifical Gregorian University.
In his concluding remarks, HMA Baker stated: 鈥淒ialogue between the secular and religious worlds helps us to recall our roots, improves our understanding of whence we came, and can provide pointers to the paths we ought to follow in the future鈥�.
