Shakespeare麓s Globe to present "Hamlet" in Quito
Shakespeare's Globe will visit Quito on November 6th as part of their "Globe to Globe World" Tour.

The British Embassy Quito is very pleased to announce the visit of Shakespeare鈥檚 Globe on November 6th, to present the play 鈥淗amlet鈥�. This is possible thanks to the support of Teatro Nacional Sucre.
The Globe Theatre is on a world tour that will last two years that serves to mark the 450th anniversary of the birth of the Bard of Avon, William Shakespeare.
The production is a young, fresh version of Shakespeare鈥檚 classic tragedy of deferred revenge that teases out its latent streak of gallows humour and celebrates the exuberance and invention of its language. Just twelve actors will perform over two dozen parts on a stripped-down wooden stage in a comparatively brisk two hours and forty minutes.
