Tickets for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games on sale in United Kingdom
Team GB followers are now able to request tickets for the next Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The sales process is underway through CoSport, the . Fans may request individual tickets up to June 10, 2015 at 14:00 (London) or secure their hotel and tickets together as part of a package with different accomodations options on offer across the 鈥淢arvellous city鈥�.
The British Diplomatic Mission to Brazil has already started work on the planning for the consular campaign aimed at the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games period. The campaign is called 鈥楽tay Ahead of the Games鈥� and will be launched later this summer. Following the successful campaign 鈥淏e on the Ball鈥�, designed for the World Cup 2014, the purpose of this new campaign is to provide British Citizens thinking of coming to Brazil with all of the relevant information they need to make their trip a safe and enjoyable one. It will run alongside the FCO鈥檚 wider 鈥楰now Before You Go鈥� (KBYG) campaign.
Tristan Gilchrist, Consular Regional Operations Manager, said 鈥淭he 鈥橲tay Ahead of the Games鈥� campaign will provide useful information for those travelling to Brazil. We believe that if British Nationals are fully informed and well prepared, their only concern in Rio will be about the number of medals Team GB will come home with, which I hope will be many.鈥�
