Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee

In June 2014 Her Majesty鈥檚 Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, Ms Judith Farnworth, will host the 鈥淨ueen鈥檚 Birthday Party鈥� - a celebration of the eighty-eighth birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The event will be proudly supported by mining company , Tealam Limited - official distributor of and .

Her Majesty鈥檚 official birthday, which by tradition always falls on a Saturday in June, is marked in the United Kingdom by the Birthday Parade (also known as Trooping the Colour) at Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall, London. In British Embassies and High Commissions across our overseas network the occasion is celebrated with the hosting of Queen鈥檚 Birthday Parties. The Queen鈥檚 actual birthday, on 21 April, is celebrated privately.

This year will mark the third Queen鈥檚 Birthday Party in Kyrgyzstan since the British Embassy Bishkek was opened in late 2011.
