Prosecution of Mr Anthony Howarth

Details of the prosecution of Mr Howarth for the possession of unauthorised veterinary medicines.

On 4 October 2023, at Sheffield Magistrates Court,聽 Mr Anthony Howarth was charged and pleaded guilty to 5 offences under the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013.

The charges were for the possession of unauthorised veterinary medicinal product. The products being:

  • Biheldon tablets
  • Doxine 100mg
  • Kiwof plus tablets
  • Nobivac DAPPVL2 vaccines
  • Benzapen 48 injectable solution

Mr Howarth was fined 拢100 per offence, plus 拢50 victim surcharge and 拢85 cost.

This was a total financial penalty of 拢635.

All seized medicines in this case are now to be destroyed.
