Washington

Asked what the government was expecting to get out of the Foreign Secretary鈥檚 visit to Washington, the Prime Minister鈥檚 Spokesperson (PMS) said that it was a scheduled meeting as part of the ongoing close working with allies in support of a political solution in Syria.

Syria

Asked whether there was any movement on Syria, the PMS said that the Prime Minister鈥檚 position remained unchanged and that work was ongoing to seek a political solution on how to move to a transitional government.

Economy

Asked what the Prime Minister鈥檚 view was on comments by the that there are 鈥榞reen shoots鈥� for the UK housing market, the PMS said that the Prime Minister believes the economy is healing.
