Following the Chancellor鈥檚 announcement in the Summer Budget that the OTS is to be made permanent and put onto a statutory basis, the government has published draft legislation and explanatory notes, as part of the draft Finance Bill 2016 material published on 9 December. The clauses give effect to the Chancellor鈥檚 commitment and expand the OTS鈥檚 role.
