Monitor at the NHS Confederation Annual Conference 2014
Monitor is attending the NHS Confederation Annual Conference and Exhibition from 4 to 6 June 2014.
Monitor will be on stand A7 alongside its national partners the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), NHS England, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the NHS Trust Development Authority (NHS TDA).
There will be Monitor speakers on the , and also on the exhibition stand, where you鈥檒l be able to find out more about the organisation鈥檚 work.
Visiting the stand
Monitor鈥檚 policy experts will be at stand A7 to discuss issues and answer your questions.
Thursday 5 June 2014: 10.45am to 12.45pm
Competition Advisers David Furness and Stephen Jones will discuss how commissioners can use the Procurement, Patient Choice and Competition Regulations to procure high quality care for patients and matters relating to choice and competition more generally.
Thursday 5 June 2014: 4pm to 5pm and Friday 6 June 2014: 10.30am to 12.30pm
Yashwant Patel, Monitor鈥檚 Director of Pricing Enforcement, will be talking about NHS commissioners鈥� responsibilities for submitting local variations and local prices to Monitor for 2014/15.
Friday 6 June 2014: 10.30am to 12.30pm
Sector Engagement Lead Helen Laing will discuss the development of the 2015/16 national tariff and the longer term payment system.
A Monitor representative will be at the stand throughout the event if you are unable to make the dates and times above.
