Food examination and analysis: annual residential course

Post graduate course run by the Government Chemist and the Association of Public Analysts Educational Trust to be held in April 2016

The Government Chemist and the Association of Public Analysts Educational Trust are again running their highly successful post graduate residential course on the examination and analysis of food at the University of Reading on 11 to 15 April 2016.

There are several places remaining on this course which is regarded as essential for those contemplating the MChemA, the Public Analyst鈥檚 qualification administered by the Royal Society of Chemistry. This year鈥檚 course focuses on microbiology, with both theory and practical sessions but also includes food authenticity, microscopy, foreign body identification, toxicology, contaminants, food contact materials and water quality.

Food Regulatory managers and scientists, food (and feed) laboratory staff

Fees

Costs to participate, which include accommodation, meals and teaching materials range from 拢300 + VAT (daily rate) to 拢1200 + VAT for the whole week
