Eid al-Adha Message from Catherine Royle, British Charge d鈥橝ffaires
"At this time of year Muslims in Afghanistan, Britain and throughout the world will be celebrating Eid al-Adha with their friends and families".
鈥淢any Afghans will have overcome significant challenges to observe the hajj pilgrimage, joining pilgrims from all over the world in Makkah. This is an appropriate time for Afghans to reflect on what unites them. And for us all to reflect on the common values that unite us, whatever our faith.
