Cycle of Conferences
The British Embassy organised a cycle of conferences during Expo Prado, in which both British and Uruguayan professionals presented topics related to agriculture and technology.

The focus of these talks was 鈥淭he technological revolution in the field鈥�. Over three days, the speakers explained how science, technology and innovation are key factors to maximize production and protect the environment. With a turnout of over 150 people and the support of the Rural Association of Uruguay, conferences were a very interesting opportunity to hear professionals talk about issues that motivate them and care day to day.
The cycle of conferences strengthened the bond between Uruguay and United Kingdom, and created opportunities to work together in the future, such as Harper Adams who were able to develop both business and educational collaborative partnerships. The university is also undertake research collaboration on Big Data with the Uruguayan Technological Laboratory.
