CDE Innovation Network event: 18 November 2014, London
The Centre for Defence Enterprise (CDE) held a networking event for science and technology providers in London on 18 November 2014.

It took place in London at , with almost 150 people attending.

Head of CDE, Andy Nicholson, introduced CDE and give an overview of proof-of-concept research funding opportunities for innovative science and technology providers.
CDE launched a themed competition for fully funded contracts (a total of 拢1 million available) on 鈥榓ffordable space-based capability鈥�.
In addition, Military Advisers and technical experts from Dstl (the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory) gave an overview of some areas where innovative research ideas are sought for CDE鈥檚 ongoing enduring challenge competition.
Bruce Hardie, CDE鈥檚 Technology Manager, talked about how to create an effective proposal for CDE funding.
