CDE Innovation Network event: 1 December 2016, London
The Centre for Defence Enterprise (CDE) is holding a networking event for science and technology providers in London on 1 December 2016.
It closes on 25 November 2016 at 12:30pm.
The event is taking place at the in London.
Jim Pennycook, Head of Operations at CDE, will introduce CDE and give an overview of proof-of-concept research funding opportunities for innovative science and technology providers.
Technical experts from Dstl (the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory) will provide specific information about the themed competition: 鈥榖eyond battery power鈥�. This competition has up to 拢750,000 available for fully funded phase-1 projects.
Also, technical experts from Dstl will provide specific information about another themed competition: 鈥榮ynthetic biology for transparent materials鈥�. This competition also has up to 拢750,000 available for fully funded phase-1 projects.
Bruce Hardie, CDE Technology Manager will brief on what CDE is all about, our funding opportunities and how to work with us.
In addition, Bruce will talk about how to create a great CDE proposal for CDE funding.
Attendees will be able to book a face-to-face meeting with CDE and Dstl subject matter experts to discuss potential proposals to the 鈥榖eyond battery power鈥� themed competition and the 鈥榮ynthetic biology for transparent materials鈥� themed competition once you鈥檝e signed up for the main event.
There鈥檒l be networking opportunities with other potential bidders, current Dstl suppliers, CDE, Dstl and military experts.
