British Embassy Panama City signs Memorandum of Understanding
The National Customs Authority and the British Border Force signed the Memorandum of Understanding on mutual cooperation in customs matters.

Jos茅 G贸mez N煤帽ez, Director General of the National Customs Authority and the Regional Manager of the British Border Force, Michael Kane sign an agreement with British Ambassador Damion Potter as a witness.
With the aim of strengthening cooperation and assistance in matters of customs control, the National Customs Authority and Border Force of the UK signed the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and mutual assistance in custom matters.
It should be noted that signing this instrument means that both entities can provide technical assistance and cooperation, through an effective exchange of information and experiences by specialized officials; allowing them to develop joint actions to optimize the control of borders and facilitation in international commercial supply chains, considering for these purposes that the UK is amongst Panama鈥檚 leading European trading partners.
Jose Gomez Nu帽ez, General Director of the National Customs Authority and the Regional Manager of the Americas for Border Force International, Michael Kane, agree that the signing of this instrument will allow our law enforcement agencies to align modern and common measures and schemes that contribute to the facilitation of secure foreign trade.
