British Embassy Harare鈥檚 DHM, Chris Brown awarded four Zimbabweans the prestigious Chevening Scholarship funded by the British Government.
Talented Zimbabweans awarded Chevening 2014/15 Scholarships
Speaking at a Chevening pre-departure reception DHM Chris Brown said:
鈥淭he Chevening Scholarship Programme is a demonstrations of UK鈥檚 commitment to Zimbabwe鈥檚 people and it鈥檚 future. The Chevening Programme ensures that beneficiaries have the skills and knowledge to make a meaningful contribution to Zimbabwe鈥檚 development.鈥�
The four Chevening Scholarship recipients are: Dr Rumbidzayi Zengeya: Masters in Public Health (University of Sheffield); Tendai Zihove: Masters in World Heritage Studies (University of Birmingham); Ronald Chari: Masters in Law and Economics (Queen Mary University); Masimba Nyamanhindi: Masters in International Rural Development (Royal Veterinary College).
The Chevening Scholarships are United Kingdom鈥檚 global scholarship programme awarded to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study post graduate courses at universities in the UK.
