To mark the passing of Lady Thatcher, former Prime Minister of the UK, a Book of Condolence will be open at the British Embassy, Ulaanbaatar, from 9 to 12 April between the hours of 10:00am and 1:00pm.
The British Ambassador to Mongolia, Christopher Stuart, wishes to pass on the following comments by Prime Minister David Cameron:
We鈥檝e lost a great Prime Minister, a great leader, a great Briton. As our first woman Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher succeeded against all the odds, and the real thing about Margaret Thatcher is that she didn鈥檛 just lead our country, she saved our country. I believe she鈥檒l go down as the greatest British peacetime Prime Minister.
