Accessing British venture capital from Uruguay
UK expert Hugh Parnell will give entrepreneurs tips on how to access venture capital to kick-start their businesses.

British expert in Innovation and Entrepeneurship, Hugh Parnell, will visit Uruguay on 4 April. He will give a conference in LATU (Laboratorio Tecnol贸gico del Uruguay) at 9 am: 鈥淭he best way to access venture capital in the UK鈥�. The event is organized by the British Embassy in Montevideo and Ingenio, an organization which supports start-ups in Uruguay.
During the afternoon he will meet with universities and other organisations that support entrepreneurs.
Parnell specialises in access to finance, business development, and early stage growth with a focus on environmental and energy companies. He also has many years of experience in University-Business collaboration.
