Voluntary Sector Civil Protection Forum (VSCPF)
The strategic aim of the forum is to identify and maximise the voluntary sector contribution to UK civil protection arrangements.
The Civil Contingencies Secretariat in the Cabinet Office and the British Red Cross established the Voluntary Sector Civil Protection Forum (VSCPF) to provide a framework for engagement between the government, emergency services, local authorities and voluntary organisations.

About the VSCPF
The VSCPF is made up of representatives from the voluntary sector, central and local government, devolved administrations, statutory authorities and professional organisations. The strategic aim of the forum is to identify and maximise the voluntary sector contribution to UK civil protection arrangements. The forum provides a means for demonstrating, at a UK and national level, its commitments towards strengthening the UK鈥檚 civil protection arrangements and the way in which the voluntary sector can truly work in a cohesive and co-ordinated way with all its partners.
The VSCPF is supported by a small working party with a similarly multi-disciplinary membership.
