HMRC Chattels Valuation Fiscal Forum

The Chattels Team of HM Revenue and Customs Business, Assets and International Shares and Assets Valuation meet practitioners at the Chattels Valuation Fiscal Forum to exchange views and opinions on technical and practical matters specifically related to the valuation of chattels for tax purposes.

Membership

Representatives from various auction houses and professional bodies. There are usually about 10 attendees.

The Assistant Director of Shares and Assets Valuation responsible for chattels valuations chairs the meeting and is usually accompanied by a number of Shares and Assets Valuation chattels valuers.
