The purpose of the consultation was to inform the government鈥檚 decisions on two proposed schemes, based on the views of those individuals and organisations who expressed their opinions on the proposals: an alternative cash offer and a homeowner payment.

This consultation seeks your views on two new policies for owner-occupiers of properties close to the HS2 route from London to the West Midlands. These policies are the 鈥榓lternative cash offer鈥� and the 鈥榟omeowner payment鈥�. The consultation is open to everyone however the schemes on launch will be available only to owner-occupiers of properties close to the HS2 route from London to the West Midlands.
