Consultation description

The GDPR will have direct effect in UK law from 25 May 2018. There are derogations (flexibilities) within the GDPR where the UK can exercise discretion over how certain provisions will apply.

For all derogations, stakeholders are encouraged to submit their views through the online 鈥楥all for Views鈥, uploading research and/or data where relevant. This exercise is to capture views on if and how the government should implement the defined flexibilities permitted within the GDPR.
