Consultation description

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is inviting comments on updates to its existing energy licence modification appeal rules (CC14) and guide (CC15), which were originally published by the Competition Commission.

In particular, the updated rules will clarify how third parties may participate in energy licence modification appeals in view of the experience the CMA has gained in considering appeals.

The updated guide is intended to assist participants involved in such appeals.

Following consultation, these documents will replace CC14 Competition Commission Energy Licence Modification Appeals Rules and CC15 Energy Licence Modification Appeals: Competition Commission Guide, except with respect to appeals commenced before publication of the new documents.
