Consultation description
Leaving the EU with a deal remains the Government鈥檚 top priority. This has not changed. However, we must plan for every eventuality, including a 鈥榥o deal鈥 scenario. We are intensifying and accelerating 鈥榥o deal鈥 planning to ensure we are fully prepared.
We are inviting views on the effects of a 鈥榥o deal鈥 EU Exit on the functions of the CMA. The draft guidance covers:
- the legal framework
- merger control
- enforcement of competition law prohibitions (antitrust, including cartels)
- consumer protection law enforcement
